Man city got a tough group again this year. I like all English teams to do well in Europe so hopefully they can go all the way and beat arsenal or barca in the final

Arsenal in group B have a nice easy one looking at the others so should get through as group winners.

ManCity in group D have the group of death yet again. I think that Madrid and City will go through, but just.

Chelsea in group E and Man Utd in group H SHOULD ALSO make it as group winners with a game to spare.

I knew Celtic would get in a group with Barcelona but i think they may just scrape 2nd spot. Interesting.

Bayern Munich in group F should walk through there group But group A looks open actually. Maybe a surprise or 2 who dont make the knock-out stages.

Manchester United will cruise through, Chelsea should only need to avoid two defeats against Juventus to top their group, and Arsenal will no doubt make hard work of their piss-easy group and scrape through on matchday 6.

PS. Man City and Celtic are both screwed

What really irritates me about this 'champions' league is that our actual Champions, Man City, didn't even get into the top seeding pot - despite having proven over a full season that they were superior to Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal who all did get into the top seeding pot .. complete farce .. merely FIFAs 'accommodation' for keeping the historic 'super powers' rich ... I wouldn't get so annoyed if they renamed the damn thing 'European Super League' os something similar ... rant over.

Unless SFA ****s it up again by playing his 3rd team like he did last season.

I assume the places in the group are their relative seedings, so I love the way that Celtic as 4th seeds appear to have an easier group than Man City who were 2nd seeds

Goodbye Man City then.

Good draw for both Man Utd and Arsenal. Chelsea have a tricky fixture against Juve but both should go through there.

Celtic are as good as out.

Agreed. UEFA are as much of a joke as FIFA. Man City's group has 4 current league champions in it. Most of the other groups will have no league champions in it so how the **** can they label it the champions league?

The top 8 seeds should be the current holders then the champions of the 7 highest ranked leagues in Europe.

Teams like Arsenal don't deserve easy groups year in year out.

bring back the old days Forest vs Malmo etc.

ONLY the champs regardless of TV money..

It's boring, the same teams raking it in year after year..

they've also scewed up the old UEFA Cup by making it into a marathon with silly leagues which no one cares about

I remember when Norwich City vs Bayern in the UEFA Cup was tie of the season.. it felt like Norwich were representing ENGLAND.. now there are around 8 clubs every season.. they don't represent us anymore..

Never really wanted any of the English teams to win in Europe. It just leads to the kids all going out and buying tbose teams shirts. I've seen Chelsea and Man City ones on the rise. Load of Barca ones the other year.

I've never taken the view point that they're representing England or the UK.

Love to see Celtic get battered. Can't stand Neill Lennon.

If memory serves...

There's the Round of 16 first, I've got a feeling at that stage you can't play teams from the same country, or the other team from your group (it's obviously 1st vs 2nd in every game). Then once you reach the 1/4s it becomes a free draw.

They also do something funny in terms of pairing teams up right the way through so that say Man U and Man City can't be in the same half of the draw unless they're playing each other.
