    The Ramirez transfer is going to go to the wire, IMO. I suggest we all re-convene about 5-10 minutes before the deadline. Then we can all laugh in Mark Lawrenson's face [metaphorically, of course].

    I think this latest Peñarol thing is a journalist's fabrication. They have no news so they're telling people what they think is happening. And they're often less well informed than we are.

    If true (and not saying it is) we can see why part ownership isn't allowed in UK. If you sell a player, a sell on clause is fair but you shouldn't be able to block the players future moves.

    the account saying it was off wasn't even a journalist, it was one of those ****e amateur news accounts, but because it was foreign people took it seriously
