Here's a little comparison, when Mayuka signed @officialsaints got 265 retweets, Yoshida signs and they get 1,267 retweets and still rising, the power of the Far East!!

 

Seems to be a concerted effort to break into foreign markets, particularly Japan, but Mayuka is a big star in Africa so that's a canny move too. Just hope they live up to their billing on the pitch, can't be buying for commercial reasons only.

I am sure a small part of it was for commercial reasons, but obviously the main reason we bought them is because they are very good footballers. Hopefully, all these deals prove to be good all round.
