I'll wait to see how ready Morgan is before deciding if I'm impressed.;)

This may be for Rodgers to evaluate if he can play in front of large crowds in a competative fixture.

Would be great to see the lad starting. He is a great professional and has been scoring goals for fun last season in the reserves. Great to see BR giving the young guns such as sterling and now hopefully Morgan a chance in the first team.

Thinks its more a case of needs must!

he wants carroll gone, wants to rest first team players and therefore that leaves, Ngoo and Morgan....Ngoo played the fully 90 minutes monday for the U21s, so that leaves Morgan. I dont think this is the same kind of decision as playing Sterling......Good to see the lad get an opportunity if the rumour is correct nd I hope he does really well!

I hope he plays an absolute blinder and we can use him as a first team backup for this season - pushing on next year. Onwards and upwards!

Well he passed it back and sideways enough that the role is perfect for him! Got decent enough pace as well.

Not convinced that he has what it takes - most players that switch positions do it early in their career where they get a sense of it through years of mistakes. He's not got the footballing intelligence to make a tackle, position himself, not get skinned, etc. Maybe BR sees something we don't, I'll trust him tonight.

It was actually Adam Morgan and not Raheem Sterling that impressed Brendan Rodgers the most during pre-season, if the documentary is anything to go by. He may and and this is may have a big future at Liverpool.

Maybe Ngoo played the full 90 as Morgan's already pencilled in for tonight.

Hope he gets a run out would be good to have another young lad chomping at the bit to get more first team action.

Great player, would cost an arm, a leg, and a kidney thrown in there for good measure though.

Enrique is fine, one dimensional but solid.

I wonder how they will shape the midfield...

Henderson wide right and Shelvey behind the striker?
