    Just to confirm and bring it back to the deal for those asking...

    - Terms fully agreed with Bologna, Penarol, Ramirez and Betancourt.
    - Funds have been transferred to a holding account to give Bologna the security they crave.
    - Gaston Ramirez is undergoing a medical at a private facility with the Saints doctors.
    - He has been granted a work permit.
    - I have no idea on announcement time, could be any time tomorrow, could be tonight.


    If I get a heads up I will post it.

    They do seem to only be used by football clubs on transfer deadline day.

    I have returned from my visit to St Marys, very little to report, a few stewards walking around, a couple of doors open around the stadium. couple of cars, and an outside broadcast van (i think).

    The meeting is to try and persuade him to stay (even though he's accepted our terms and is doing a medical). They'll say things to him like: "You don't want to be part of a team that gets beaten at home by WIGAN, do you?!?!" "Do you have no ambition, signing for Southampton is a massive step back in your career sonny Jim".
