Seems as if Anelka is having a rocky time in China. The bloke is there 10 minutes and becomes manager. The team doesn't do so well and we all know Nico's temper, he really doesn't like being told what to do by his bosses.

So you'll have Drogba back in time for him to score against us as usual?
 
I do wonder if there was some talks with Abramovich / Di Matteo for a potential move back? Maybe a loan deal or just a year contract.

Would be interesting. Hope he doesn't come back though. Still a great striker who will score goals but he left on the biggest high possible and I'd like it to stay that way!
 
Great to see him back on a free, apart from the negative effect it would have on our new star scorer Torres!
 
I love the bloke, one of our most important ever players, but to bring him back would be an awful decision.

can't agree more.. like everyone knows - he left on highest possible moment.. should never return the legend !!
 
Apparently Drogba has been released by Shangai Shenhua and is holding talks with Madrid.

Just saw this on another site.
 
Spokesperson for Drogba refutes any notion that he has been released by Shenhua. If I was him though I would be looking around for somewhere else.
