With the signings already on board and the rumoured further signings I think it's obvious that some players will be leaving the club.

Anyone else have an awful feeling Sess is on his way? I hope we keep him as our attacking options look brilliant but I've just a gut feeling he's away.

Anyone else feel the same or is this just me being a typical Sunderland fan thinking we've signed these players now something negative has to happen?

I think we'll hang onto him now.

If we sign Dempsey & Sess does go & if he goes to Spurs i would be gutted to see him leave. But not if we got defoe as part of the deal.

    --------------------Mig---------------------------

    Gardner------JOS-------Cuellar---------New LB

    Johnson------Catts-----Colback----Dempsey

    --------------Fletcher-------Defoe-------------

    Looks good to me

I would sacrifice anymore coming in if it meant if anyone else came in Sess would go, thats how much I rate him, the bloke is a little magician, even if we get Dempsey he is still our best player.

I would hope though we bring in Strinic, Dempsey a RB and a midfielder on loan, Henderson maybe is that player and Sess stays

    as for outs

    time to shift on

    Elmo
    Richardson
    Meyler
    Vaughan
    Campbell
Wickham (6month loan with option to make it for the full season)

The main ones saying Sess could be on his way are Mackem's without a reason to.

MON has stated from the off he considers Sess to be our main man and will do all he can to keep him.

BE careful of self fulfilling prophecies.

Would like to give Meyler the same option as Wickham. Given game time and staying clear of injuries I think Meyler will be an asset to us

I hope we keep Sess, I have this horrible feeling all these great signing are the calm before the storm.

I would sell. Vaughan, Bramble, Richardson, Elmo
    Loan out: Wickham, Ji, Meyler

I would like to keep Campbell but if we signed Dempsey and or Defoe etc.. then he would probably have to go too.

If we signed another CM Gardner would have to go too.

Squad would look something like this:

    GK
    Migg
    Westwood

    Defenders
    New LB
    Bardo
    JOS
    Brown
    Cuellar
    Killgallon

This is probably where we need 1 more, Colback and Gardner can cover the full back positions and JOS and Cuellar can both play any position along the back 4 but if we look back at past seasons we have always had injuries at the back so 1 more or someone like Laing stepping up would be useful.

    Central Midfield
    Larson
    Catts
    Colback
    Gardner

2 positions and 4 players with the option to recall Meyler if we had a crisis.

    Attacking Midfield / Wingers
    Johnson
    Sess
    McClean
    Dempsey (if he signs)

3 positions and 4 players as well as Larson being able to come into one of the positions is we were really desperate.

    Strikers
    Fletcher
    Saha
    Campbell

If were playing 1 up top 3 is enough cover in my book, especially as Dempsey or Sess could do a job there.

Its a squad game we should be looking at the squad not just the first 11. What were really missing is a big strong lad in the middle of the park, a Fellaini or YaYa Toure type player.
