nope. There are obviously large parts of the genetic make-up that are similar, but there is a distinct irish genome.
Originally there were only 4 distinct races: *****l, Aryan, African and Native American. Anything else are mixtures of these.
13% of a difference So, the people of Irish descent in Britain, are they Irish? And the people of British descent in RoI, are they British? And if you tell a genetically British person of who lives in Ireland 'to go home' is this racist?

my cousin was born in britain to irish parents and he now lives in ireland but you can tell the difference, the weasel got out of learning irish by claiming he was english hmmmmm
