Taking 2 world class players out of any premier league squad damages that squad. Take toure (yaya) and kompany out of city for example. Vidic last season (and he's just 1 player).
We scraped 4th last year, have lost 2 great players and other teams around us have strengthened more than us. 4th would be an overachievement for me this year but last year it was a marginal underachievement

A 2-0 win against Norwich would satisfy me this weekend, anything other than a 2 goal win with a conceded goal against a team like that would give me a bit of cause for concern.

Sometimes the result is more important than the quality of the performance, and I think this applies to this Saturday, so I'll happily settle for a win of any scoreline.

So far Spurcat we've had a tap in after a deflection and a deflection off another player's nut so I think you're right for this match. I'd still like a solid performance. A defeat or a draw is unthinkable.

Already? that doesn't say much about the belief in the manager.

That's right Boss. I'm not totally convinced as many others aren't about AVB and if we lose or draw to the likes of turnip heads then my fragile forbearance will be totally shattered. But I like the look of Dembele and tbh I cannot see us losing to Norwich.

I don't see us losing to Norwich, but can easily see a draw if Ade isn't fit and firing.

Seems highly unlikely now we'll get a striker in quick enough for him to start on Saturday.

Been a very depressing start to the season, AFAIC. Here's hoping we can find the win, Dembele doesn't score many, so doubt he'll provide the necessary goal(s)
