Relax Fox is almost back, and with a hopefully improved defence (Bassong, Turner, Garrido) the need for an out and out DM will be diminished.

Like how some QPR fans are predicting a 0-0 draw...a clean sheet in our 2nd game of the season, that almost warrants a Norwich Open-Top Bus Parade in celebration!
 
I'd rather it have been the other DM from Ghana, Vorsah.

This guy sounds OK, shame about the Argentinian if thats not happening (Argentinian players are my favourite).

Oh well, at least he's not British which is always a good sign.

He played against England I think in the friendly before the Euro's, he didn't look too bad if I remember quite a powerful player like Essien.
 
Just watched Tettey's interview on CP. Seems like a top bloke and just like the type who will fit in with the squad!

Do you know what would make him fit in even better!!

On better news, it appears that Dawson move has stalled to QPR. They also managed to offload another 30+ year old, leaving just 17 remaining.

We are the only sensible club left in the PL, with a wage cap which the average fan can just about accept as reasonable, £15k/week.
 
Sorry, posted this on another thread before I saw this one. Here is my view (for what it's worth)

Im happy with Tettey as he looks good but i hope it doesnt mean we wont be getting Biliga cus HE LOOKS AWESOME! May spell the end for Johnson, smith, adeyami etc if Biliga comes in as well. Otherwise we will have far too many players lol! I like the sound of this as a starting line up:

Biliga Tettey

Snodgrass Howson Pilkington

Holt/Morison.../Rhodes?

I know people dont like playing Holt alone up top but with 2 class DMs in our side he would get a s**t load more service as Howson and our wingers could push up more!

ps sorry Supers I know you think Rhodes is a rip off but cant deny Vaughan going to Hudders does seem fishy! I like Rhodes, could be a real hit in the Prem. Before you say 'BUT HE'S ONLY SCORED IN LEAGUE 1' look at Holt! Everyone said he wouldnt score in the Champ...he did, everyone said he wouldnt score in the Prem...he did.

pps does anyone know if Tettey will be availible tomorrow? May be too soon?

Now that has a great GK, the makings of a solid defence, a DM with bite who will protect the CBs, a cracking midfield and 2 deadly strikers, and I will lay bets on Rhodes scoring a fair few as Holt is marked out by the opposition this season, allowing his partner to flourish.

when are people going to start thinking clearly? it isn't happening and it isn't going to happen, but by all means, feel free to have a large wager with me. what do people say? £1000?

I think that too. And it works every time. Much to my, and probably several other peoples, amusement. Although the vast majority of the time he does provide excellent value to our community here - I 100% agree with his theory for a DM (sorry mate, refuse to call you "supers" as I think your ego is big enough as it is without added encouragement, and I mean this in the nicest possible way!) :)

In his defence he seems 100% certain Rhodes will NOT come to Norwich, but then I seem to remember him being similarly certain PL wouldn't go to Villa... Oooops!

My view is I agree it seems unlikely, but don't be so rash as to 100% rule it out. Seems there's still a bit of wheeling and dealing to be done before the transfer window closes. Probably a few surprises springing up too.
