Yeah. They were supposedly after a lazio striker to replace him but maybe they've changed their target. Either way, they need our money.
Hope your right. Our money is as good as anyone elses. Plus i want to stick 2 fingers up at doubting rivals 
The annoying thing is that it could all be over but Saints will never tell us. We are all clinging to the idea that 'no news is good news.
Surely Adkins would have confirmed that the deal was dead yday when asked if that was the case. He did that re the Buttner deal last week.
This has now become the holy grail to us. He has gone from a good footballer who would be a bit of a scoop for us to something in our minds that defines us as a football team. After all this he'd better be able to kick a ball.
I dont thinks it isnt dead though is it, lots of games being played, Ramirez wants to go, nothing has changed. The closer it gets to next friday the more chance we have .....providing noone else comes in for him which is likely to happen i would have thought.......
I agree as you would think he would say if the Ramirezdeal was dead, but I reckon the Buttner deal was dead a long time ago. So I expect the Ramirez deal to be announced as dead in October.
