The issue is with the strikers, play the players who will score, Fryatt isn't there so Simpson starts. We won on Saturday thanks to Koren setting up Simpson.

Koren Is our most creative player. What we seem to lack is wingers who can cross. It's alright having pace, and tricks, but at the end of the day if you've got no end product it's a waste of time. If you look at the wide players we have when we got promoted we had Hughes and Garcia, Not the fastest, Not the most skillful but both could cross. IMO if anything in the midfield needs to change it's the wide players.
That said our strikers do lack movement. Much of the time last season there was only Fryatt making the clever runs, But often ended up in positions out wide, Which is no good considering he's our only goal threat.

Exactly, great post. Fryatt is great at his runs and that's what's made him a top striker however, he has a piss poor heading ability, which means our crosses always lead to nothing...

This season though, we have different areas of threats. Aluko can either cross, take on the defender on turn in and shoot, Proschwitz will be getting into the area battling for the aerial ball giving us someone to actually aim for when crossing it.

If we have Aluko, Koren, Stewart - who seems to be improving both with his confidence and in his performances, Fryatt and Proschwitz on, we have many different threats. Even McKenna gets into good positions as the new formation means Koren does more defending - which he seems to be doing to the best of his defensive ability and McKenna gets into more shooting positions and holds an attacking midfield line across the opposition area keeping pressure on.

too true, not just wingers, rosenior must get in 3 or 4 dangerous positions a game yet 99% of his crosses are appalling,..its a problem in our whole team which needs addressing, especially if we want to get the best out of prochwitz
