If he wants to leave Chelsea would you like him, I think you could have the money for him, I don't believe he would require the highest fee in my opinion.

Not at all. Exactly the player we wanted rid of when we went down tbh. I don't doubt he is still a good player, but he has gone right down hill, if we got him on a free then fair enough, but he wouldn't accept our wage structure or stature. I wish we had got him when he was at Marseille before he pissed on us in the Uefa Cup Semi Final.

He'll not get 100k wherever he goes. He'll probably want 70-80k per week but I think we should only be looking at paying 40-50k which is still good for a 32yr old.

nope if we did i would think shepherd had bought the club again as it would have been the sort of trophy signing he'd have made and we'd have lapped up but we've wised up now (well i hope we have) would rather see the money spent on another player or towards wages to keep players (barton,jose)
