Hail caesar! more crap rumours too early to start panicking over another keeper, give him a chance & support him.
Whether true or not, these stories can't be good for his already smashed confidence. Every mistake and it's WC 2010.
Morning all, I'm a big time follower of international football, and last week I heard a radio phone in show with Tim Vickery who is 'Mr South American football'.. Someone raised a question regarding Julio Cesar and Tim said that since his mistake in the 2010 World Cup against Holland his confidence has been shattered and he hasn't been the same keeper he was. He lost his place for a while for Inter and as the first choice keeper for the Brazilian national team. Tim said that he probably needs a move to see if he can still do it at the top level and also to win his No 1 spot back for Brazil. Great shot stopper and at one stage a few years back was the best keeper in the world, bur a keeper short of confidence....do we need another one of those
He's made more than one mistake. Flapping at crosses and one of the few shots he did save was going about 3 feet wide anyway. He cost us nothing so if a better keeper comes up I say go for it. Whether Cesar is that man I'm not sure
Simon Peach has confirmed we are already in talks, he is much better than Green. The only reason I can see this happening is if Cerny retires or becomes a coach because I dont see the point in having 4 goalies.
or maybe Murphy is on his way out. he was a Warnock signing, and Cerny got a new contract this summer (although a 1year deal, if my memory serves me right).
Really don't see MH looking to replace Green after one game, it would mean if always felt he was iffy. Do people really thinks so?
to be honest i think age has caught up with Cerny and with the injuries he has had its taking it's toll on him.
Now this would be an amazing signing IMO!!! Fantastic keeper. He's won Serie A x 5, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, Confederations Cup. Kept 17 clean sheets last season fro club and country.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Brazilian touched down in the U.K. capital earlier this afternoon. Aged 32, Cesar has made 228 appearances for Inter since arriving at San Siro in 2005, but has recently been marginalised by the signing of Samir Handanovic from Udinese. Mark Hughes' QPR have already signed a 'keeper this summer, but new boy Rob Green had a disastrous debut in Saturday's 5-0 home loss to Swansea. Youngster Vid Belec is set to start in goal for Inter in tonight's Europa League meeting with Romanians Vaslui. ""
Its a bit surreal isnt it? Im on record as stating I wont want 30+yo players but Ill make an exception for players of his quality.
