I am hearing this too.

But their chairman does not seem to be budging from an astronomical price....47mill I hear.

Even you boys would choke at that!
 
However I expect Levy to do his magic and swindle a swap deal with a packet of wotsits and a fiver going the other way.
 
Someone said yesterday (deedub?) that 25 was Ade's face number so I wouldn't read anything into it. However, Bale for some reason did ask for 9 and got told to do one. So maybe.....
 
Along with Drogs, I think the No.9 is being reserved for Damiao. If Modric does finally go to Real, I think we may well make a serious move for him. I bloody well hope so, anyway.

It should have been done a year ago, tots. I'm still pissed off that we messed up that opportunity. Now, we will have to pay far more to land him.
 
NSIS some reports are suggesting that our agreement with Inter should carry some weight.
I think one of the posters here said that it was only for youth players.
But I echo that frustration,bloody annoying.
 
Just been having an early morning twitter browse again...

Some guy (person A) is suggesting its pretty much done, which as you'd expect, has made others question his credibility.

However, "person A" is being defended by another guy (who I respect for not being a bull****ter) and this guy (person B) is informing others that "person A" was on the money about the date, time, and announcement of the sigurdsson transfer.

So there could well be some truth in this..

I think it was more a case of the decision being made for him. Our bid wasn't high enough to persuade Inter to tell him that he didn't really want to stay in Brazil.
