That's not our fault though is it? That's down to inept officials.

Back to the point (not sure why it ever diverted from it in the first place), Hazard was fouled in the area twice in two games and rightly awarded a penalty. That is in no way shape or form, lucky. <ok>

My comment said being awarded the pen is the luck, of course the foul itself isn't luck, but when it happens to us there's another body in the refs view and its not given! You have to admit you've had extraordinary luck at times during the last 12 months. No need to be so prickly about it, its just a fact! :)

I've not seen anything about it and its just occured to me, why are you playing 3 times in the 1st week and why not on tv? is it to make up for when the Supercup game is?

Yes, we play the Super cup a week Friday so we played that weekend's game tonight, haven't a scooby why it wasn't on TV tbh. Maybe because CL games were on

Radio 5 live and the Reading manager is gutted that the third 'goal' was allowed to stand, totally right. Bloody wake up Drogs, your team isn't skillful,it's lucky.

Blinkered beyond belief. We had 2 fair shouts for a penalty not given v Wigan and 1 against Reading.

We throughly deserved to win both games and most true football fans would hold their hands up and admit that

Still don't get it do you?

I have not once said the offside goal was not lucky.

Reading equalise with their first shot on goal and then take the lead from a Cech error that he would not repeat if in the same situation 1,000 times, have 28% possession and are unlucky to lose. Chelsea have 72% possession, manage to score 4 goals from the 27 shots on goal but that's lucky.

Strange logic

Spot on Luke. Decisions will have gone for and against teams but of the 11 PL games played so far there have been no wins that haven't been deserved on the balance of play

Spot on DL, some people just can't look past hatred.

Chelsea weren't lucky to win. Some decisions may have gone for them, but this argument that the result was determined by a couple of decisions going their way (however important you may think they were) out of the 1,000s made by the officials, managers and players over the 90+ minutes is fundamentally flawed. In fact, it's nonsense; Chelsea were worthy winners, much as I would've liked Reading to take a point or more.

Well put LDL <ok>
