Optimistic, so I'm going to say a pessimistic response that whoever runs the officialsaints twitter lives there.
It's interesting because the other tweet 4 hours ago wasn't used on a Iphone, DTLW I honestly do think you could be onto something here!
I imagine the location map represents where the person who is tweeting from the official saints twitter lives. It will just be there house, they dont have to be at the training ground or stadium to to log on
Yeah pretty much what I was expecting. That, to me, leaves this deal still very much in the balance. All of the bullshit that's been tweeted about what exactly Bologna's problem has been with the offer, true or not, is guesswork from poor excuses for journalists, because frankly good journalists don't guess and they don't tweet about this kind of crap. Obviously the fact that Ramirez wants to leave works in our favour, but obviously that doesn't mean he will leave. Clearly Bologna are not the easiest to do business with, and knowing Italian football clubs, the important people over there can probably be pretty irrational. They may just be stupid enough to keep him at the club against his wishes.
That concludes my summary of this thread. My position on whether he will join us or not remains at about 50/50.
If it's Sibley it makes sense. Half an hour ish each way from the training ground and the plush hotels where players are put up before signing.

Still, a discussion point.
Only one good thing about this thread of nothingness and it's that it may be keeping one or 2 of those embarassing Saints from other areas of the net telling Liverpool and Spurs we are bigger and better than them prematurely both in terms of getting this player and us reaching the top half of the league come season end.

Nothing wrong with hoping and explaining a chairman/club's vision but to spout off like it is in the bag (player and league positions) is ridiculous.
Who's the plank on this thread who has already forgotten Lallana and Lambert and ...SOUTHAMPTON FC and changed his avatar to a player that doesn't even play for us (whether he doesn't play for us yet or never does?) That is totally disrespectful to the players who DO play for us already!!!!
I don't see any Cortese avatars being changed to Chinese Businessmen ones based on possibilities arising from rumours....Get it sorted...Do you support Southampton or a single player called Ramirez????

Every single club in the world has fans who think they're Billy Big Bollocks but I've not seen a single person, literally not one, say we're bigger than Spurs and Liverpool, which means if people are it's an extreme minority, same for getting into Europe. I challenge you to find me a single team without ONE arrogant deluded fan.
As for the avatar thing it's pretty silly but not a big deal, calm down.
Not overly bothered about the avatar. That was tongue in cheek although it is a bit strange for a fan of Saints to change to a 'might be a saint' avatar.

On the whole this forum has mostly realistic fans that went into Sunday fearing a 5-0 thrashing and coming out 2 days later with huge beams on their faces however some other saints fans on other areas of the interweb are going around the net as if we are now only just behind Citeh and will finish top 6 as a defnite.

If you're talking about Saints fans on Twitter and Facebook then they can be disregarded, I think you need to have a severe mental deficiency to take part in discussions there.
