Undergoing a medical at Stoke City!

Reported by S S News official link just after 10:00 a.m. this morning...

But, I've just heard Pennant mentioned on the same programme.. is he leaving it looks like he may be. HOPE this is way off the mark though.

EDIT SORRY GUYS.. just reading the views of Spurs fans about Tom H seem's most are hacked off he might be coming here and they rate him above Jenas and Bentley <ok>
And regards to Pennant.. they say he TWEETED this news.. thank **** for that. In fact, Pennant said only two weeks back, I'm going nowhere. All is good then, let's hope Tom H passes his medical.

    Why not?
Start the lad on Sunday.. he's like TEN times better than Delap, Whelan, Whitehead who can't play Sunday. He can pass, he can't half hit a shot give the lad a chance I say. But your right Potter H, we're talking Tony Pulis= clueless= negative= he might not wurkarrd enough in training the next few days.

Yeah pottermouth wasnt sayin i didnt want him start just that think pulis wont go with him unfortunately. Im like u get him on the pitch then if he tires fair play sub him but least we will have some1 on the pitch who can pass. I just think like u say pulis will go negative and stick to what he already knows unfortunately. I just hope we get him and we aint jinxed it with all this talk of him playin sunday lol

I'd just say to be patient with him, he hasn't played competitive football in over a year due to injuries.

A good enough excuse for TP not to select him in the starting line-up on Sunday, should he sign.

That's Crouch, Palacios,Woodgate and now Huddlestone, all Spurs cast-offs! How about Defoe as well then?

I'm sure that (OFFICIALLY) Huddlestone did'nt FAIL the said medical.. as such it's our staff feckin around AS usual..

And Canary Spurs, I would be patient BUT he has not signed and I doubt he will now.. for Christ's sake Pulis my respect for you wan'st that great before.

NOW this.. sort it out or SOD OFF! All summer loads of full backs/wingers/midfielders etc and what the hell have you been doing?

Some advice, do as you preach and wurk arrder. Rant over cos I'm sick to death of this player/that player. STOP the talking/fasle promises etc.

Calm down lads. Spurs wanted us to pay Huddlestone's wages even if he got injured! I for one am delighted we pulled the plug. Ridiculous from Spurs. Who in their right mind would agree to that sort of a loan deal?

Why aren`t the details of the loan sorted BEFORE we go through the rigmarole of medicals etc They just keep building up our hopes. Now this deal with Edu is on, but to be honest I don`t really want him.Maybe the new boy ,Cameron has had a word with TP about him,but I don`t think he`s too well rated by Rangers fans. Just listened to P&G and I agreed with one guy who suggested giving Arismendi a try.I have a funny feelig that he is the sort of player who TP doesn`t like and will probably be sold on,like Tuncay.we could feally kill two birds with one stone if we got a proper left back freeing Wilson up as an alternative midfielder. Personally I`m not convinced about Wilson ,but to be fair to the lad he`s never been tried in his proper position!

  15. Having looked at the Sentinel it looks as if there are concerns about the ankle and it looks as if they are negotiating with Spurs if he gets injured again.

So how long that takes god only knows!

Does anybody know if Cameron is likely to be in midfield on Sunday?

    Two things here Sgt
WHY the hell didn't someone with a half a feckin brain SORT this out BEFORE the medical, WHICH I am well imformed he did PASS IT. In fact I know he did.

    And Cris
Surprise Surprise.. the word is that Cameron MAY yes MAY start on Sunday.. as Smither's say's it's laughable who do I blame for all this.

Pulis why? No confidence either before or after any game/ on t.v. his intervies bore me stupid and he shows total dissrespect for Arsimendi and others i.e. Tuncay etc now he tells us the paying fans.

Cameron MIGHT start.. Tony WHY is that? Delap, Diao, and Co are better than him? IF they are your an idiot for signing him. IF he's better like I ask. WHY not play him. Either way it makes you, the club and everything Stoke City a JOKE right now. I might just hybernate until end of August. I was really looking forward to Sunday. Now, I really don't give a ****

Someone said a while back, no big player will sign for us because of the way we play.. Well the sooner TP is out and not GOOD player's the better I will feel. We play the way we do because Mr high n bloody mighty thinks it's clever. Well Tony, you may take the P*** out of me for one more season. So, after which either YOU go or I no longer PAY to watch nor listen to you excuse's and negative attitude.

That's the last I'll say regarding this latest FARCE.

Dont buy it Sgt. The structure of loan deals are pretty standard and we would have understood the terms prior to both dragging the lad up from London and going to the expence of a medical. For me its just another typical Stoke situation where we start backing out looking for excuses. I agree that we wouldnt be pleased with paying his wages but normally an insurance policy goes someway to covering this. You cant legislate for an injury on the pitch (that goes with any player perm/loan) but if we are bulking at his past medical is unproffessional because we new it before we inquired!
