We have. We've signed a number of players this year...
Without people getting ultra defensive and taking what some posters are saying way out of proportion, I can see why peole are getting frustrated. 2 high quality players where the deals have become highly publicised have fallen through at the final hurdle. Doesn't mean people have lost faith in NC or the club it's just frustrating that's all. No need to shoot down everybody who posts feeling slightly demoralised. Let's hope we've got more irons in the fire anyway and we can enjoy the last week of the window knowing we're open for business with money to spend on the right players!
Well it's certainly been suggested by his agent that the clubs haven't been able to agree terms with suggestions that the installments are the issue on Bologna's side. I 100% back NC and have no doubts that if he won't negotiate further then it's for the benefit of our club (whether that be to send a message out to Bologna that he doesn't take BS or whether it genuinely is to move on) but it's so tantalising when a player of Ramirez's class is within reach for us.
agent speak doesn't mean it has fallen through, it may have hit a barrier but others suggest it is far from over. also which other deal were you referring to in the previous post.
I was referring to the Buttner deal. I see your point, it's all guessing games and reading between lines that may not even be there at this stage I suppose.
Ramirez a bonus. I'd be more than happy to see Matty Phillips or similar here adding to the hunger of the squad.
A centre half is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING (and supposed targets such as Dann, Davies etc are still yet to complete transfers elsewhere so are still very much possibles) The fact that Adkins has reiterated the need for one or two CB's means that I am in no way panicing yet. Let's relax and trust that these things will get done.
The squad as it is is certianly good enough to beat Wigan and certianly deserves to be in the premierleague.
