No, we're not signing him, but apparently Man City are! Has there ever been a more bizarre signing than this? Now I'm not suggesting Sinclair isn't a decent player - I think he is, but he is miles away from being a top player. This move will almost certainly mean that he replaces Adam Johnson as well, a player who is infinitely more talented than the man replacing him! I simply cannot get my head around this deal. Can anyone offer me a decent reason why this transfer is a good one for the champions of England?
I have no idea, but what i do know is that he along with moses if he moves to chelski are screwing up there careers
I was watching Adam Johnson the other night with England thinking to myself "this is the most football he's played all year, what a ****ing crime" Adam Johnson needs a move QUICKLY because he's a huge talent and is just wasting his time at city, picking up a fat paycheck.
Seems a very strange one to me to. Decent player but certainly no where near good enough to improve their squad. The only logic I can think of is to maintain enough British based players to fulfil their quota, especially if they were considering offloading some. Still I imagine they have enough for that already. Hopefully won't ruin his career but seems as if it may, certain international call up for him now though.
right everybody sit down and make a note of the date and time because Beefy i totally agree with you, he is wasting his time away at citeh and i would say a move to somewhere like Liverpool would do him the world of good. Sinclair is probably better defensively than AJ, but thats about it. A move to manchester would probably appeal because he is knocking off Rosie from Corrie!
Adam Johnson is a great player. I really think he is underrated. One of the few English wingers who can beat a player with genuine skill rather than just knock ball past defender and beat on pace. unpredictable in being able to go either way too. And has end product. Better than Downing, Milner, Walcott etc. in my opinion. His only problem is consistency
the talk in manchester is that mancini doesn't like the way johnson drifts in and out of games. WELL HELLO!! MANCINI! WAIT TILL YOU SEE SINCLAIR!!!! that's wingers though - they do drift in and out of games - you accept it or don't play with wingers! terrible decision if it happens...
I agree entirely, he's far more naturally and technically gifted. That's why I'd like to see him at a club that will play him every week. Like Norwich lol
Which will come with more game time, I like him much more than Walcott, Downing etc. He does have great pace so has to been skilful, when he gets the chance to cross you know that its a good one, rather then wasting it like the players previously mentioned.
completely agree with this guru. he's a player that gets bums off seats - every football fan loves players like this. johnson himself needs to move, i think liverpool would be a very good move for the lad - but man city will regret it in time
So that'll be another ten million or whatever in Swansea's transfer coffers - just what we wanted to hear!
i think nathan dyer is the better of the two swansea wingers. no doubt liverpool will pay £20m for him in january...
