    I flagged up the fact that Cropper has been with the U21s for a while yesterday and figured we would probably sign him or already had. If I can see this, anyone can. The guy's full of it (if this is even what he meant, which is far from clear).

    Thomas was the back up choice to Phillips, Phillips pretty much over, Holloway wont sell. Thomas available, reliable and cheap. bid is £2,000,000

    Trust me, can use both feet, quick, and plays on the left. Has alot of game time in the premier league as well. he is a good option.

    I don't really think Jerome Thomas is. Can't see him being an upgrade on what we have, if he is then it's very slight. But oh he's a bit pacy and English so he must be good!

    I really doubt we're in for him. Ollysaints1 has been having some total stabs in the dark and for some reason people are taken in.

    Sir Alex Ferguson on signing left-back Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem: "Alexander is one of the best young left backs in Europe and we're delighted to sign him. He's someone we've been watching for a while now. He gives us some really exciting options in that position."
