    If you read it (I read this earlier in another publication) he doesn't empirically state he was offered the job.

    Didn't this guy cut his holiday short to take the interview? I'm sure you would do that and then turn down the job if offered it in the first place. It seems to me he been taking lessons from DW if you ask me. He takes pride in seeing his team win...WTF! every year they fight relegation and every year they escape by the skin of their teeth! The guy has made himself look like a clown so good luck to him and his team!

    heres the thing either you beleive the guy who didn't get the job or the guys who said... nobody else was offered it but rodgers.

    Rodgers wins either way. Either he was selected first & Martinez is behaving like a git or we believe the story that Martinez didn't like the idea of a DOF and said no. whereas BR actually has a pair & said Yes but no DOF anyway & the owners backed down to his obvious alpha male Dominance. The little bitch Martinez can strut around Wigan Saying I'm the man all he wants : Only Whelan believes him.....
