If we have Carrick playing as a defender this match (which is likely), I really hope we don't try to hold on to a one-goal lead in the final ten minutes.
Everton have had a knack for scoring late goals against us the past two seasons, and our defence is obviously not be as solid as it usually is...
But if we can take the game by the scruff of the neck we could be in for a really good evening, Carrick will certainly help our ball retention and passing from the back, IF we can control the game.
