Hope the team clicks right away. RVP hasnt had any pre season but the rest have and the last game had some very good attacking play so I hope thats how we go about our business today.
In most other games I would want Everton to win but I really want us to send a message out in this game.
We have the toughest game out of all the realistic title contenders. A good win and strong display from the team would send a message to the rest of the league.
RVP will start tonight and I reckon in 9 hours time he will of scored his first United goal. I cant wait for him to piss off millions of bitter ****s across the world who have bawled their eyes out over this transfer.
I doubt people care so much for football that they cry over transfers. Although always a possibility with Arsenal involved!
You obviously don't follow Piers Morgan's Twitter Legal disclaimer: The author of this post does not, nor has he ever followed Piers Morgan on Tw@tter. He was however, highly amused to hear media reports of Morgan's mental breakdown on Tw@tter following RVP leaving Arsenal
Have you been in space these past few days. Fans of every club have been crying for ages often blubbering how RVP was always rubbish and how every strikers better than him, you know, that convince yourself everythings gonna be alright sort of crying usually associated with Arsenal and Liverpool fans
ref to give RvP a penalty if they are losing. If United score fist, 3-0 win. A Young to win a pen as substitute
Who do you guys think will be our dedicated penalty taker this season? Obviously it was Rooney before, but his success rate hasn't been that great lately... Now we have RVP in the mix who has a very decent penalties record, and I have no idea if Kagawa takes them either?
If we have Carrick playing as a defender this match (which is likely), I really hope we don't try to hold on to a one-goal lead in the final ten minutes. Everton have had a knack for scoring late goals against us the past two seasons, and our defence is obviously not be as solid as it usually is... But if we can take the game by the scruff of the neck we could be in for a really good evening, Carrick will certainly help our ball retention and passing from the back, IF we can control the game. If it's back-to-the-wall type stuff I'll chew off my fingers, guarenteed.
He's been training most of this month but he hasn't played any football so he won't be match fit but could still play some part.
