My Liverpool mate said that was one of Skrtel and Agger's worst games in a Liverpool shirt.
Were they that bad?
They were pretty bad. Nothing really at all in the first half until they scored right before the HT whistle, but the second half they started to fall apart, getting spread out, not being aware, and the runs of ****ing Shane Long were causing them trouble.
It was very weird, normally they are rock solid.

Was suprised at agger is usually a decent player, maybe not as much protection in this new system of theirs but it's to early to say.
Do you not think they were playing a higher line than last year. Ala AVB in his first few games at Chelsea?
I know he can do the job there but I don't like that we are lacking adequate cover at LB. Johnson is much better on the right and I think it threw the balance off a bit with the defenders. When it is Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson we are normally solid. Start to mess with it and it kind of falls apart, not the same understanding.
Will be interesting to see who Rodgers selects for City, youth with COates and let him learn, or experience with Carra. With the movement of Tevez I would prefer Coates.

Those stats don't look too bad for a game we lost 3-0. Strange how we only committed 1 more foul but got 3 extra yellows. Actually, taking the Agger incident away, we committed the same number of fouls and got 3 more. Mulumbu smashed into the back of Suarez and got nothing, while Olsson (as is his game) was pushing and elbowing all day.
2 stats explain why you lost.
Goals scored and shots on target.
Doesn't the 'goals' stat always explain why a team loses?
Anyway, that was hardly a response to my point. You didn't watch the game in full.
Yes but shots on target give you the chance to score.
West brom were superior in both aspects and thus won the game. Doesnt always work like that but more often than not thats how it is. Possession counts for nothing really, you can win a game without the ball has a team showed recently.
You cant win without getting shots on target and of course scoring.
I didnt watch the game, I never watch full Liverpool games as they are boring ( not a dig, just my views )

What about the possibility of having a trouble maker in your midsts? A bad egg so to speak.
What I mean is maybe amongst the players theres someone who would have to be quite a powerful figure who sort of huffs and puffs when things dont go right. V WBA for example, perhaps going in 1-0 down you had someone saying something like 'oh not this **** again' and other players start doubting themselves.
No idea who it could be but if it was the case it would have to be one of your main players, one with influence, Gerrard maybe? Unlikely its him but hes still the main influence on the team.
Doubt it, I think this mentality has been building since Rafa left and there just seems to be the thought process of if we go down we are ****ed. I think it has more or less worn itself into the team than one bad egg. It is hard to break as well.
