Here is a graph that demonstrates much of what I've been saying about 'Pool and the Mousers, these past three or four seasons.

First, he sold Carroll to 'Pool for a shocking £35m. Now, for most of us, that, in itself, was quite some wum, but for Pardew it was only the set-up. Then, when inevitably Carroll turned out to be a donkey (only us non-Mousers could see that he was a donkey), Pardew pulls off his masterstroke-wum by offering £12m to buy him back!

Brilliant!

As would be expected, the Mousers are up in arms about this. Brendan Rodgers has said that Pardew is "taking liberties," which, in manager-terms, is quite a slap. Not that Pardew gives a toss, because his wum will go down in history as the biggest and most elaborate ever!

Pardew, I suspect, is now banned from the Mouser board.

HIAG

Do you remember when they signed the former Barc youth coach Pep Segura? All they could talk about was how they'd be turning out little Messi's in no time. He walked this week. Said it was for 'family' reasons but I understand it's because the budget was slashed and he had to let some of his coaches go. They also cancelled the publication of a magazine that only had a 20k per year budget. Seems money could be tight for the mousers.

Did you have a word with him during his exceptionally short time as a Spurs player, HIAG?

When their new Yanky owner acquired them at a bargain-basement price, via a brown-paper envelop deal with the bank, I said at the time that there would be no significant investment in the club. The Yanks are cheapskates, and saw an opportunity to buy a big-name brand at a ridiculously (so they believed) price, run it for a few seasons, and then sell it on for a huge price. The Yanky owner has been pulling the Mousers' chain since he showed up.

My message to the Mousers was: "Check his wallet, you idiots! It's empty!"

Did they listen to me? No, they did not.

Of course there is no money; there never was any money. There isn't going to be any money.

The reason why they cannot let Toon have Carroll for £12m (which, incidentally, is at least £5m more than he is worth) is because they've spunked all of their "Torres" money, and have nothing left to buy any more players. Hell, I reckon they don't have enough money to pay the ball-boys on match days!

Kenny-boy and Comolli walked because, between them, they convinced the greedy Yank that Carroll was worth £35m, when, in reality, he's worth about £7m.

Even though we've spent £25m net this summer which I don't think is a bad investment from non Russian/middle Eastern owners at a club with no CL, don't you?

How much is Agger going to City for, again? <whistle>

Sir Red, your greedy Yank owner will not spend any of his own money on 'Pool. Trust me, on this.

I personally though Sky's 'Are you watching White Hart Lane' advert was a bigger wum. <ok>
