  2. There was a Mouser on talk5HITE tonight saying that BR is the wrong man for 'Pool.

It has started, just as I thought it would.

  4. Thing is, we all knew he was the wrong man, but the Mousers - as usual - got caught up in their delusions and forgot that BR took a very good Swansea side to mid-table last season. 'Pool is not as good a side as Swansea, yet the Mousers believed that BR would be able to win the EPL title for 'Pool. How they expected him to do this was never quite explained. Perhaps they expected him to do it by magic. Who knows?

With City,Arsenal,Manu and away to Sunderland coming next they could be on 1 or 2 points after their first 5 games. He's gonna make Hodgson look like a genius.

  8. "Even when I first bought a PlayStation, I used to play a football game and I always picked Liverpool as my club. So I find it amazing that I now wear the shirt here. I am playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Everyone in South America knows that. My career is going fantastically." (Suarez)

    <doh>
He obviously gave that interview before 'Pool got spanked 3-0 by WBA.

That was 'Pool's heaviest opening-day defeat since 1937.

Looks like BR doesn't want to be out-done by Kenny-boy when it comes to creating new records of 5hite-ness.

  11. Phil McNumpty, in his blog on the BBC Football website, writes:-

"Brendan Rodgers's conviction on his arrival at Liverpool that his restoration of the club's fortunes would not be a quick fix was underscored by his presentation of a 180-page dossier to the club's owners as a signpost to the future."

180 pages? Jesus! I can sum it all up in one sentence, pal.

"Get rid of that stable of donkeys and invest in some top class players."

What did BR's "dossier" have in it? Join-the-dot puzzles for Goofy and Dobbin?

Scottish Mouser on 606 saying the Leagues in the bag

That's what I love about the Mousers. We've had the likes of Alexi Sayle, Ben Elton, and Jimmy Carr, but the Mouser still pay good money to go and watch Tom O'Connor.

Living in the 70s and 80s!

For them, "Bread" was a fly-on-the-wall documentary.

You've got to laugh (at them).

Martinez implemented the style, which was carried on by Sousa, Rodgers, and Laudrup.

Liverpool's board obviously didn't Google that fact...

  17. In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, 'Pool captain, Stevie G, referring to his side's spanking at the hands of relegation favourites WBA, told the paper ""I fancied us to go there, dominate and win but things didn't work out that way."

Might I suggest, Mr G(BH), that it is that kind of arrogance that cost you the match?

I would also suggest that, if you really do want to avoid fighting a relegation-battle this season that you give teams like WBA, Norwich and Southampton a little more respect.

    Okay, pal?

    Taken from wiki

I wonder what brendas view on people questioning his Integrity are, after he was accused of breaking the agreement he had about not signing any swansea players for 12 months.

Yea fair points. Hate the mentality that some/most players have, makes them lazy (lazier in Downing's case)

Look at Celtic - currently residing in fifth place in the SPL. So much for it being a procession this season, eh?
