    Good evening Blues.
I noticed that Ryan Bertrand played up front today. From what I saw he didn't do to bad either. Will he be playing there regular?(Dream Team purposes!!)<ok>

Yeah he played there in the CL final. He was only there today because Marin is injured, doubt he'll play there any more <ok>

RDM , I'm sure will find a place in the side for Ryan! Our problem is having a squad where we have a surfeit of world class midfielders! We cant play them all! If Ramires had been fit would Ryan have got a game? I suppose its a nice problem to have , but I think when we get stuck into all 4 major competitions we're going to have to share selection between them all!

He's not overly effective at left wing but he tracks back very well (obviously due to being a left back).

I'd rather him at left wing than Malouda

We should release Florent as well so that he can go to Brazil as rumoured..

Id say he's worth a go in your squad give that Ryan can playin a more advanced role on top of LB gives him a decent shout at starting a lot of big games due to his defensive work rate he's an option im very glad we have . RDM was really the first person who showed real faith in him which to me shows he has a good eye for youth talent .

Bertrand is the real deal, he doesn't let anyone down even when played out of position. When we finally discover what his best position is, he will obviously get more games there and become a top, top player.
No attitude, no whingeing about not playing where he wants to play (unlike a certain striker ) , just fully committed and talented and pleased to be in the team.

Can I just say it was AVB that gave Bertrand his start and decided not to loan him out again, despite Ryan being wanted by Reading and Norwich again. When RDM took over he was already registered in the squad.

Its one thing being a Squad player but another starting a CL Final ahead of Malouda who was the obvious choice at the time it was RDM who put real faith in him .

I think I might take a punt on him actually. He does look a quality player an like Cech says, he's gotten the nod over Malouda in a CL final.
