This has been asked loads of times before I'm sure, but why the **** do we have international friendlies just before the start of the season? What a stupid idea. Slightly worried with Song buggering off too that we're gonna be very weak against Sunderland. Hopefully we have enough to pull through before bringing a couple of new faces in.
I am now slightly worried about the game against Sunderland as well. Thankfully, it's at the Emirates and home advantage gives us the edge and I feel all eyes will be on Cazorla, just hope he hits the ground running.
I like Diaby, but my heart will sink if we do not see Cazorla from the start. He is the player we all want to see and give us a lift after the events of this week.
Is Cazorla going to be fully fit? He played the full 90 the other day for spain (he scored too), and had a very long flight back.
Yeahhh, Diaby would be moved into the CAM and Ramsey will be the guy in sitting back position with Arteta.
I've just had a worrying thought. If Theo's injured, and Giroud unfit, we may have to start Chamakh. If we move Poldi into the middle, we'd have nobody to put on the wing.
Think Walcott might be fine. He had a 'bruised thigh' but from the pictures I saw, it looks like he took part in full training today. Giroud and Cazorla are more of a fatigue issue after their midweek travels.
Right, having seen how delusional some of the sunderlands fans are, i'm hoping we smash them tomorrow.
You'll be scared after tomorrow. Your defenders are going to apply for a restraining order against Cazorla.
Loving the positive energy We've lost 1 striker who didn't look match fit last week, and now we're losing a defensive liabilty. Sunderland lack quality, we should easily beat them. I'll save my fears for the bigger games.
Jenkinson to Giroud might be a decent goal scoring combo this season, he does have one hell of a cross.
I think we will improve a lot this season. Just being "decent" the first 8 weeks could get us 10-15 points more, and we have more depth in attack and midfield (probably).
