In a time when we are either peeved, angry or upset about RVP joining United remember guys that the only loyalty in football is from the fans. We don't get paid to support the clubs we do, it's not a job for us it's a passion. I have seen a lot of hateful articles about RVP and this is understandable but we are the ones who make Arsenal Football club and we are the ones who will continue to be there long after RVP retires from the game. There will be other success stories at Arsenal they dont all end in a fairy tale like TH14 (his return) or Dennis B. You have to remember that footballers especially the modern day ones are money driven. Only one team can win a title and there are no guarantees that team will be United. Also with RVP's history of injury's there are no guarantees he'll stay fit for the entire campaign. So head up gooners and get behind the players we do have even more than ever because as long as they want to play for Arsenal FC they have my support.

Interesting fact going about on twitter recently - not sure how true it is - Arsenal’s win percentage in the league was higher when van Persie (61%) didn't play than when he did play (53%)

RVP reacted to speculation by slagging off his team and their "ambition" and "vision" and such ****e

recently Agger reacted to speculation by having YNWA tattooed on his hand <ok>

I'd react to speculation about my future by tattooing Agger's hand too. <ok>

Was this for the past couple of season or during his entire playing time at the Arsenal?

I wish him well..... On a more serious note, could we really be considered as rivals for the title or as Manure's rivals. Personally, I think our rivals are more closer to home than we realise. To add to your post, there will be more where that came from, it has only taken RVP 5yrs to become a made man at the Emirates.... Next up lil Jack, he is Arsenal through and through, no one ca nick him from us!

Wouldn't be surprising, considering the only times Van Persie didn't play last season was in games where we could afford to rest him.
