The Song reports could be total bullshit by his manager to make Arsenal offer him a better deal.

There hasn't been a single direct quote so far, don't know why everyone seems so assured he'll leave. I'd definitely start him.

Just want to see how versatile the squad is......interchanging positions and how well they command the pace of the game. Still woried about our high defense line though.

I think the one area that we were weak in last season was at DM, our defence got exposed too many times by balls through the middle.

I'd like to see us spend some of the RVP cash on a dedicated DM

more injuries!?!? again?!?! will we ever have a non-unlucky season with regard to injuries?

Hello gooners. I'm making my first trip to the Emirates tomorrow so looking forward to the game. In our 3 meetings last season, only a last gasp Henry goal up here and a last 5 mins wonder free kick denied us a well earned point down there. We won the cup game at the SOL so its 2-1 lol. Don't forget, we couldn't play Bendtner either in those games so had to change our team each time to accommodate, although it probably helped us.

I sense a lot of arrogance about tomorrow from your fans on here, which plays into Mon's plans imo. You have not got RVP or Henry tomorrow and will be relying on 3 EPL new boys, and despite their quality they are in for a baptism of fire. The EPL is faster and tougher than any of them will have experienced in their careers so far.

Saha isn't at his best now granted but he is a proper threat and has bags of EPL experience and goals to his name. We will be well organised and difficult to break down and have a good counter attacking play. Saha will have 60 mins in his tank imo and defensively, Arsenal havent been at the races recently.

If you score early then it will be a long afternoon. If you don't I can see us grow in confidence.

We shall see soon enough I guess.

Seen the training photos, and both Cazorla and Walcott look like they are fully involved. Should be OK for the game. No sign of Song, though.

Alright, here's my revised formation after the Song news:

Szczesny Mig
Sagna Rico
Vermalen Cuellar
Mertersacker Kilgallon
Gibbs O`Shea
Cazorla Larsson
Arteta Catts
Song Colback
Ox Mclean
Giroud Sess
Podolski Saha

Does look like Giroud will be on the bench. Podolski through the middle in our formation should be interesting.
