After Ponders and Typical both think it's a good idea, I'll start a thread on fantasy bands, not hard, just pick your ultimate band, they can be dead, alive, dead looking (Keith Richards) just yeah, who would you have?

Freddie Mercury - Front Man,
Keith Moon - Drums
Jimi Hendrix - Guitar
Cliff Burton - Bassist

Yeah that's a dead band for ya all to start with

Ray Davies on Lyrics
Stevie Marriott on Vox
Paul Weller and James Dean Bradfield on Guitars
Ronnie Lane on Bass
Charlie Watts on Drums
Stevie Winwood on Keys/Backing Vox

Coming to a Corn Exchange near you...

I don't know about the others, but for me Johnny Marr has to be in any fantasy band

I was going to have Marr on lead, but I plumped for Buckingham in the end. I feel bad for leaving Morrissey out, but he wouldn't suit the style.

Rob Thomas - Vocals
Lindsey Buckingham - Lead G
Ronnie Wood - Bass
Izzy Stradlin - R. Guitar
Manzarek - Keyboard
Bonzo Bonham - Drums

I would have Artie Fufkin as promotions manager.

Josh Davis, Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons.

Vocals - Chuck D and Florence Welch.

Vocals - Freddy Mercury
Lead Guitar - Jimi
Rhythm Guitar - Keith Richards
Bass Guitar - Bootsy Collins (Soooooooooul man)
Drums - John Bonham

Honourable mentions:

Vocals - Sinatra
Lead Guitar - Guthrie Govan
2nd Guitar - Jimmy Page
Bass - Flea
Drums - Travis Barker

Okey doke, thought for a while about this

Vocals: Karin Dreijer Andersson
Vocals: Julie Budet
Guitar: Johnny Marr
Keyboard: Tanguy Destable
Drums: Matt Helders

Not a clue what they'd sound like, but I bet the remixes would be good.

They're all alive too, so a possibility... now to get their phone numbers

Super - thought i'd do a super band involving Barker and Flea, but thought meshing together DJ Shadow, The Chemical Brothers and Massive Attack into one would be better
