The Harker yard are in fine fettle and did us proud on Tuesday. Whilst not quite so confident I do fancy another from the yard today. TARTAN GHIGA 9-1 4.25 Beverley is not quite the force of old but has won off a mark more than a stone higher than todays. His recent runs have been over a trip a little too far and todays extended nine furlongs is absolutely ideal. In addition he wears first time cheek pieces and that may just help eek out enough improvement to win this pretty modest affair. My only slight concern is that he is due to drop 3lb in future handicaps but it could just be that the yard feel that the race and conditions are perfect. I was surprised that Tuesdays winners wasnt backed more heavily but again watch out for this one being popular. It's a poor race of exposed types and he is obviously the best horse in it. With the yard in such good form he is well worth a punt. (bet365 9-1)

    15.15 Beverley- Lucy Minaj

If this filly out of Dylan Thomas reproduces the same form when 2nd @ Redcar she will go very close. She ran shocker lto but the drop back to 5furlongs should help and Im going to give her another chance.

Was going to put up Emiratesqueen as I have put her up the last couple of times but she is currently 8/11 so theres no point <laugh>

Winners a winner wooly once it's returning profit back into your coffers, given that i don't usually back odds on only in certain circumstances but if ya fancy it why not?! Goodluck all the same.

Not racing related but bets can be struck on his next destination..hell suits me fine!!

How Llorente could leave us for any club vexes me;..This is after the Man U second leg..proper support 40,000 Basques cheering 11 Basques on the pitch.

Things like that don't happen very often in footy any more...I'm eligible to replace him but i'm knocking on a bit

Dext, that sounds like a right proper atmosphere...!!! I must get to one of those games... Went to Bezitkas a few years back and thats the loudest and most intimidating ground ive ever been to, though Anfield can get the blood going on a good night... (though i hasten to add that those sort of nights are becoming the rarity nowadays...:emoticon-0101-sadsm )

Right lets see if i can follow up today with a winner or two...<ok>

Morning guys and once again thanks for the daily thread Stick, one from me today.

8.35 Kempton - Sunshine Always 10/1 more than capable of going close off this mark and likes it at Kempton with all of his best form there off a not so lenient mark as he runs off today.

And finally Richard Hughes seems to have a cracking book of rides at Salisbury and may be worth following blind, good luck if you play today <cheers>

One at Salisbury 4.40 SOUTH CAPE 6/1 All ways catches my eye when R Moore rides for his dad G Moore, South Cape won off of a mark of 85 a couple of years back with R Moore up top, he runs of of a 20lb lower mark today just 65!! This should put him in the mix at the business end of things.

    Best Of Luck:biggrin:

Salisbury today for a bit of fun

2:30 - Desert Command (16/1) is bred to be a top horse, out of Oasis Dream and Speed Cop. Both siblings on the the dam side are out of Balding's stable and both ran well on debut with Jimmy Fortune on board. Rail draw will help.

3:00 - It's Only Business (7/1) Not a great race, up one point for 3rd lto, 7lb claimer on board.

3:35 - Sir Mike (10/1) Consistent type, should go well dropped back down in class and in trip.

4:05 - Love your Looks (11/1) A lot will be made of Emirates Queen's 2nd behind Barefoot Lady, obviously that form is strong but not for me at odds on, love your locks looks to be getting better with every run as a 4 year old and the 2nd behind Hajras at Ascot could see her go close.

4:40 - Monopoli (11/4) Went close on handicap debut, not been treated too badly for that run.

5:10 - Very odd race, amateur jockeys not allowed to use whips?! George Thisby (10/3) for a few pennies

    Morning all,

Totally agree with you Wayward, was going to say that i think Mr Hughes could be having a good day at Salisbury. Also 3 at Beverley i think will go well.

2.15 - Violent Velocity - Goes well here and came second last time out in a better race. 7/2
3.50 - Fear Nothing - Horse and jockey looking for a four timer here. 9/4
5.25 - Aliante - Typical Johnston horse who has not won for a while but can see him leading from stall 2 all the way and lead them all a merry dance.

    Good Luck

You should all follow my tips lads, my luck is certainly in at the moment. In the last couple of weeks I've had letters from the Governments of Uganda, South Africa and the UK, plus one from the IMF, all telling me that I'd won a million quid in a random e-mail lottery draw and all I had to do to collect was to send them all my bank details.

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket <party>

Yes, my daughter was offered some kind of platinum Visa Card; all her and her hubby had to do was advise all bank details. Incredible, some of this stuff, really! :emoticon-0112-wonde

I'm interested in Langley in the 4.40 at Salisbury. Has won recently over hurdles for Tim Vaughan and could spring a surprise now back on the flat.

I used to get emails from these Russian hotties! All I had to do was send a bit of money for their travel fares and they would be straight over!

It's been 2 years and still no sign of them though, maybe they caught the wrong flight??

Does anyone know whether there is a draw bias at Salisbury?
