Joe this has at least been in the papers in Italy and mentioned by journalists on twitter. It's pretty clear there is at least interest from the club.

I know you don't like to see actual rumours being discussed here but let us have our fun.
 
Hi people, have any of you heard that there is a Saints press conference tomorrow? Personally haven't seen anything but some on twitter seem to think there is something happening.

If anyone can shed any light that would be most helpful...

In other equally believable rumours, some folks on Illingsworth's forum say the press have been told to be at St Mary's for a signing tomorrow (in between slagging off Nicola). Just like those press conferences we had when we signed J.Rod, Davis etc. Oh and hartysaint says squad numbers are out on Thursday.

Tadanari Lee, If I recall they did one with Jay Rod, but that was a couple weeks after he signed. They only seem to happen if its a 'big signing' something which effects the other side of the world. On those lines anyway, for example Man Utd did one with Kagawa when he signed.

Man Utd are far bigger than Southampton. Tadanari Lee didn't have a press conference.
 
There is something happening tomorrow, but I don't know what it is or where it's taking place.

Actually I just made that up, I do know whats going on, but I'm not going to tell you.

To be perfectly honest I don't think I can recall any club who announces a player via a press conference, they usually have a conference a day or two after. The only one I can sort of remember was some Italian team putting a animal toy or something over the players head and then took it off to unveil him...quiet funny to watch.

No it wasn't a Saints Player interview, it was the world's media (mainly Japanese) asking Lee questions. It was like a 30minute video they put on the Player for us to see.
