Now come on I put some work into that, it was meant as a friendly wum and to be fair your fans saw it that way, even had a few pm's saying so.
To be fair any decent minded fan would not have a problem with Liverpool. If Brendan Rodgers made a sideways move eg Norwich we'd have all been surprised and probably annoyed but going to Liverpool is a logical move in fact he would have been mad to turn it down. The same can be said of Joe Allen, he will be set up financially now for the rest of his life and you've got a good one there. He joined us as a 9yr old, come through the ranks, helped us to two promotions and now has given us an income of £15M. Personally I think all parties have had a good deal out of it.
I hope the bad feeling that's been caused by only a handful of supporters ends sooner rather than later. It's time for said parties to grow up a bit, yes I'm all for a bit of fun and friendly banter but that's all. As a club and a set of fans we've always had a good relationship with LFC and long may it continue, besides and I hope you don't mind me saying this but I really really really dislike Man Utd and their plastic fans
