I've bought a bike trainer...but the trouble is, i can't put the bloody thing together! Mr H can't either...i think i'm going to have to take the whole thing apart and start again. The good thing is that i've sweated buckets already..the bad thing is...it really should be a lot easier than this!!
http://www.regista-blog.com/2012/08/an-old-fashioned-testimonial/ Here's an interesting article...definitely worth a read
If you can't follow the manual, you should contact the manufacturer and ask for a copy of their easier to follow, step by step guide. I think they call it the womanual.
Haha brilliant! H, is it a turbo trainer? I have one for my road bike... but don't remember it being hard to put together!
I have to tell you, there's far more chance of me getting it than Mr H, who is completely useless at all things practical and leaves them all for me...coz actually, in the scheme of things, women are far better at these things than men. Trouble is, the manual is in German and the pictures don't help! lol
it is...and it was very easy to put together, but the bike is too big, so now i have to take it all apart again and add bits of nuts and screws...so...i thought i'd try and use my bike which has a smaller wheel, which is where i got into difficulties, coz..i took the back wheel out of the bike (which i had to do to get the spindle thing out, and now the bloody thing won't come out, and the wheel won't go back together...blinkin' nightmare!
Dizzy Rascal as oppossed to Dizzee Rascal. I hope she brings you all a lot of pleasure, love & many years of happiness. If she like most women it won't be long before she has Boris in tow.
Good day all, just a few moments when I am not being hounded by grandsons. Love the puppy Leo, have you thought about a German course H? Annual cycle race coming past the house this evening. Cold beer and a garden chair for me, but the temperature is extreme again and I would not even think about peddling up the hills. Tomorrow is the Fete day and in the evening there is a large open air show starting at 20.00 and going through to midnight. After that there are two dances you can choose between, open air disco or traditional in the salle des fétes. The first group appearing are called Les Lovely's 80 and the main billing are Zouk Machine. After they have finished there will be the grand feu d'artifice with son et lumière. Will do my bit serving up the best part of 1,000 portions of chips. It can take several days to get rid of the smell.
H, take a deep breath have a brew and look at it with a fresh pair of eyes.....gorgeous pup Lenny, I am still trying to convince my dearly beloved it would be a good idea to get a puppy but she has dug her heels in and says not till I retire. She has only got 2 years left in the RAF so I may have to wait till then, as I still have just short of 5 years to go and I am not going to wait that long
Al - I retired so was OK on that front plus I always wanted a dog I could take for walks - and a Pug does not fit that bill - he gets breathless after half a mile if that
If I want a dog when I retire, I'll probably be waiting 60 years at the rate the age keeps rising.....
I have actually called my wifes bluff as all along I have said I would like a boxer type dog but she was against that due to the size and slobber (bit like me) So she said I could have a small dog, now about 6 years ago we visited her sister in Canada and she had two dogs a huge husky and a small dog about the size of a large cat and it was gorgeous and it was called a Zuchon which is a mix between a Bichon and a ****zu and I must admit I fell in love with the little mite. So that is what I am going to get, they are hypo-allergenic and don't cast their hair. It will look mighty strange as I am 6ft 2in and weigh 16 stone plus with a little dog on a lead but I don't care if it means I can have a dog!
Didn't take long for Heidar to open his Cardiff account - has just scored against Northampton. I'll bet AB is gritting his teeth over that.
