I thought we might go the whole evening without it, but Brendan Foster had to go and spoil it by suggesting a knighthood at the end of the year for Farah. Quite honestly I despair! Farah has done the country proud. It is a tremendous achievement and we all love him. But a knighthood? This country needs a sense of perspective. When there are soldiers coming home badly maimed or in boxes from Afghanistan, please let's not bestow our greatest honours on Limpik Affleets. Surely a CBE or OBE would suffice?

I've loved the Olympics. Didn't spend much time thinking about it beforehand, but it has been inspiring. I love football, no sport could ever get close, but the thing I've so admired these last 2 weeks is the honesty and complete devotion on view.

Mo's amazing, he dealt with every challenge in that last lap. Brilliant running.

Alright Woody. I agree. The best thing about the Olympics is they aren't footballers (apart from the Olympic footballers, that is). Some of them aren't even rich, spoiled, arrogant etc etc. The second best thing about the olympics is it takes my mind off the fact that there's no premiership. And if that sounds like a contradiction - it is!

They are half empty, the problem is the empty half is made up of the Olympic Lanes.

Mo Farah is a top top bloke. He will inspire a generation. Whatever the plaudits coming his way, he will deserve. His humbleness is an eloquence that shall reach far beyond his personal achievements. Take a bow son.... All that selfless hard endeavour has paid off. Sir Mohammed Farah, it has a great ring about it.

None of us on here can ever realise the effort and application that helped him realise his dream. Double Gold at the London Olympics. Incredible.

Why bring his daughter into it Loveit? If it's to get a cheap joke then thats very sad.

Why does everyone have to be a comedian or an expert?

What Farah achieved tonight is greatness. To bring his daughter into it at an attempt at humour is pretty bad form.

    I don't get it, I really don't.

What makes you go like that?

Of all the attributes to focus on, you choose to decide whether or not he has the strength to pick up his daughter?

Once again, I apologise. I misconstrued it's intent. I'm just over sensitive. My apologies. I'll buy you both a pint before the Swansea game, no hard feelings.
