Or just wait till RVP turns them down, and enjoy the next moment of desperation by Fergie. And then the season will start and we can watch Everton doing them over in there t-towels. Pure gold. City will dominate and Fergie will turn to the bottle and develop a twith and some peculiar mannerisms.

    lol

We can match their spending, not their wages. We choose not too because it would risk our existence. You may think thats stupid but oh well, cant help that can I?

He has to back his employers other wise he will no longer be there employee. Why risk everything he has ever done over something so pointless?

Its their fault we cant match their wage offers. **** all to do with the glazers.

    Gaf, your thread....

Fergies a hypocrite, hes done it before, how dare he question other clubs doing it.

    Wrong?

you can dress it up as you want, it was another tired old boring anti united rant.

Baz's nightly dream. Around 3am he wakes up screaming in a puddle of sweat, thats when he realised it is nothing but a pipe dream.

Hes been saying it for decades now though

It is a little bit boring. However, no matter how much Ferguson stamps his feet, Arsenal are unlikely to budge from their asking price. City had to pay their asking price last year for Nasri. Barcelona had to pay their price for Fabregas in the same way, Real Madrid had to pay Uniteds inflated £80 million price tag for Ronaldo.

Just saying, everyone calling United hypocrites. That is your reputation these days. No one fears United anymore, most will be glad when the era of dominance ends. Or should that read, we are glad the period of dominance ended.

I see spurs calling us hypocrites, a Liverpool forum and Tevez.

Probably the worst 3 examples ever.

Though I did say Fergie is a hypocrite, in this thread and before.

    Just not in this case.

Just because your club is valued 3rd richest in the world or whatever and your seasonal income is enormous doesn't mean the debt and the Glazers greed isn't stopping your spending power.<laugh>

With or without them we would want to match their wages.

Would you want liverpool to do it?

Ask yourself this, do United even need too, whos been the number on English club since the original money club? It aint Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or City thats for sure.

It would hurt any club to have £70 million a year taken away before wages and expenses ie tax are paid. No matter how much the club earns. It surely is going to decrease the transfer kitty. Anyone that says it won't is being unrealistic.

Man U used to throw cash around like water. These days, there are other clubs in better financial positions. It appears as if United can't compete with the likes of City, Chelsea and even PSG when it comes to buying the best players.

As I have been predicting for the last few years, United's dominance is over, and they will continue to fall behind. Once it becomes obvious the glory days are over, less players will want to join, less money will come into the coffers, players will want to leave etc and of course Fefgie will retire.

    It's a self-fulfilling prophecy - a vicious circle.

Cloud Cuckoo land for you UIR, tranfer fees have been broken by the richest clubs of every era, and as for Utd's 'need to' dead right they do or they'll get left in the wake of clubs prepared to buy the best and pay the best wages.
When City were first bought by the Arab they were ****e, where are they now due to paying over the top fees and wages?

Utd's trophy cabinet was bare last season and the cup that Fergie&Utd under-valued might be your best bet from now on, unless of course your owners are prepared to take less out of Utd and match other clubs.

£45million actually, about to drop to £35million

The exact same as if we were a Plc.

£35million will also drop, can probably call it £23million considering the £12million Chevrolet are giving us this year and next just for signing a deal with them, they are not even our sponsors yet.

    Did we?

When did we ever throw money about.

    This will be fun.

We signed players for big fees but usually one every so often and the signing dramatically effected our future transfers.

You and every other liverpool fan or fan of any other club know full well United are going nowhere.

Do you ever get bored of saying our time has past, how long before it becomes apparent we have set ourselves up for the short, medium and long term.

Something other clubs simply didnt do during their period of dominance.

The money clubs will have little impact in a few years, none at all. So who is going to stop us? Maybe a club will do it the right way, like Arsenal did and Arsenal and Liverpool would both have more titles now if it wasnt for financial doping.
