Does anyone else look out for their results? I am over the moon for big Phil the way he has sturned it around. There seems to be a spark there now....maybe he will get a tan from the spark. Do you think they can do it?
Well tbh they are my second team at the moment, if they do go down i do hope they come straight back up. No matter how bad PB was at the end i have to admit i still hold him close to my heart for him taking us up to the PL.
I've just done the BBC predictor, as I hadn't really thought about it - and surprisingly, I've got them making it. My bottom five are... PLD GD Pts 20... Doncaster 46 -27 47 21... Preston 46 -21 44 ------------------------------------------ 22... Crystal Palace 46 -29 44 23... Scunthorpe 46 -44 40 24... Sheff Utd 46 -41 35 Admittedly - I didn't put a great deal of thought into the scores, every team I thought would win, I gave 2-0 to, every draw 1-1. But even so, it balances out. And it seems like he's played himself into a good position. I hope I'm wrong though... because the play-offs look like this... PLD GD Pts 6... Nttm Forest 46 16 73 --------------------------------------- 7... Hull City 46 12 73 8... Leeds Utd 46 10 71
My bottom 5 20- Doncaster 46 -15 50 21- Palace 46 -26 47 -------------------------- 22- Preston 46 -21 46 22- Scunny 46 -41 43 24- Sheff Utd 46 -38 35 Top 8 1- QPR 46 43 93 2- Reading 46 31 84 ---------------------- 3- Cardiff 46 30 84 4- Norwich 46 23 84 5- Swansea 46 22 78 6- Hull 46 13 73 ----------------------- 7- Leeds 46 12 72 8- Millwall 46 15 68
Interesting that you've got Preston getting more points than me Anew, but going down! Seems a lot of us are agreeing on City getting to 73 points, the question now is if that's enough for us.
I think Palace will surprise everyone an win there last game against Forrest. This will keep them up.
And probably put us in the play-offs if other results are as we're predicting. Think I could live with that. (Sorry Phil!)
It makes you wonder what kind of season Preston would have had with Brown in charge from August. If they go down, they'll be straight back up, survive and they'll be in for a better season. Watching them against the Blunts on FLS they look a different team from the one which we beat at the KC 2 months ago.
If that happens I'd fancy a Swansea/Hull Final for the Playoffs. Cardiff and Norwich would have a hell of a job getting over the disappointment of missing out on automatic on goal difference, especially if Reading did it with a late late winner on the last day.
I'm warming to you Tiger's fans at a rapid rate of knots.. Hope you Tigers can snatch promotion and PNE survive, always been a fan of Tigers..
I'd be happy with that. Cardiff are the ones to avoid as they're the only side above us to have beaten us this season.
Yer well to be honest this season has been great and if were in with a chance of the play offs on the last day I'l be happy.
Not sure, will have 2 ask the old man, he sorts the tickets out but usually informs me straight away! Aint heard anything yet
Yer I think we get told on Wednesday but should get the tickets, I think, Do u know how much there stadium holds?
