Very strange indeed, embarrasingly so if you ask me <doh> <doh>

I'm 100% certain Robbie's point wasn't about how Ward might be feeling about criticism of himself, and I'm 100% certain it was merely highlighting the sheer ignorace of what some people write on here sometimes, hence the fact you'll find me bothering to comment on here on here less and less.

Munky, if you post less and less, that leaves more space for the "idiots!"

I don't have a grudge towards Ward, said higher in the thread that I like him. But think he isn't up to Prem like that above statement was targeting. Why is someone not allowed to say they don't think Ward is up to Prem? I don't understand. It's a forum people can say what they want but it has to be belittle by some people because we don't have a reason. (although I for one have pointed out reasons). If I was criticizing directly to player at stadium. Fair enough. That's my point by it, in hindsight might seem strange but I don't understand why people cannot point have a negative opinion of a player without it being jumped on.

    And thanks Dave, :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Desmond Carrington still on Radio 2. How old is he? If he was on here he would probably be the second oldest poster.
I agree with Sid on this one. I know I only see it on the internet but from what I saw of Ayala I'm not sure if I would even call him talented. I think Russell MArtin is far better. He is only 26 so not exactly pensionable. He is far more athletic than Ayala and more dangerous in the opposition box. Ayala only outscores him on passing ability on my card. But I am quite happy to stick with Bennet, Turner, Martin and Ward as our centre backs. If we are still in the Prem in 2/3 years time we might be in the market for more talented defenders and their more talented wage packets but I think we have to be realistic about the overall quality which will probably be bottom half of the table.
And we are not really sure of CH's tactics for the forthcoming season. He might well have a different approach to protecting the two CB's. We all see a holding midfielder as a method but maybe he sees things differently.

That's my point really, not sure why negative comments can't be made about a player on a forum. Ah well, he could be on his way to Forest as well. Good move for him.

You're not aloud to criticise players on here, you have to ask people's permission and get the green light to do so.

No supers I rate Kagawa very highly it was more laughing at the fact he thinks one addition, namely Kagawa, will suddenly have Utd attacking on a par with Barca.

I think..can't see the sig on my mobile!

I'm with you on this, I don't criticize at the game but if you can't have an opinion on a football forum then it's the regulars on here who are in the wrong. I must admit there are a few little Hitlers on here at times who think they rule the roost because their opinion is firmly with the general consensus and thinking everything we do is great.

There is so much apologising for opinion for fear of sounding negative just to cover up any possible offense which may be caused. Being negative does not mean you hate the club, it just means you look at improvements.

I don't think Ward is crap, and I think people are judging him on skills he's not designed for when put into positions his teammates shouldn't leave him in. But he does have these hairy moments which people tend to remember.

We all want to improve the playing squad and Ward should be replaced just as another good lad, Crofts, was.

No place for sentiments in football!

Some can't handle people disagreeing and having another viewpoint so instead jump don't throats.

Well said. It causes so much offence on here having a different opinion sometimes, at the end of the day we all want what's best for the club I don't see what the big deal if someone wants to see things done another way. If you don't fall in line with some people on here it's end of the world and I think their hostile attitude towards people possessing a different opinion put's people off posting.
