When he told me about it I thought it was very possible they made an enquiry, after all O'Driscoll worked with him at Donny, but agree that we wouldn't sell him unless the offer was pretty stupid, or we sign Fierro

Either way Forest can ask all they like, unless we've got someone else directly lined up we certainly won't be selling. He'll get plenty of pitch time even though he's not as good as Rodriguez and Lambert, and we won't cope with only 3 strikers if he goes, especially with Lee injured and very unproven.

Ehhhhh. Maybe. I'm not that convinced on Hooper. Would rather see us bring in something different if Sharp goes, someone who runs at defences, bit of pace behind him. Someone like Lens, or Gabby Agbonlahor (who I still rate, oooh controversial)

Rod is defiantly quicker than Sharp.
Sharp is Goal poacher around the 18 yard box predominantly but as with Lambert, NA is bringing more to his game.

It's nonsense to say that Sharp will go. He's only been here since January and he moved very far in order to join us; I don't think he's going to move back up north anytime soon, especially with the ambition shown from the club.

I still rate Agbonlahor aswell, Villa played him completely wrong last season.

Good to see I'm not alone. I'm always impressed when I watch him, shame his goal tally (and erratic finishing at times) has led public opinion to turn against him.

I'd be tempted to start him over Lambert, he must be our top scorer in Pre-season and Sharp will be on to anything that goes past the City defence.
