You do have valid points Bedford but at the end of the day a 6+mil fee plus high wages for our club is not justifiable for a league 1 standard player so far! Would rather buy a striker who's been playing in a top league from Europe for less fee and wages.

I may be wrong but, they seemed to leave him out a lot towards the end if the season. He doesn't look great in the ball to me, get the feeling he'd simply lose possession in the PL. Vaughan is technically much better and I think if he were in league one, would have out scored Rhodes.

How many more times are we going to hear this nonsense. Beckford, Paynter, mackail-smith, Maynard and about 50 others in the previous 5 years who have scored for fun with a lower league sides, got a big money move and then couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Norwich do not have the money to risk on such a signing - end of story. Cody McDonald scored umpteen goals for Gillingham - it says it all!!!

Ok, I hear the reason that it is league 1 so no. But I still think that we need someone more clinicl and less injury prone than Vaughan. We already have a good quick, technically gifted player in jackson oand he is rarely injured). Vaughan= high wages and always injured.

One can only hope he stays fit if we dont replace him and he proves me wrong by getting goals. Understand that I do like him, im just woried about his lack of goals and game time.

Where has this high wages thing come from? How can anybody possibly know what he's on?

BBC gossip today quotes the Sun saying Birmingham are in competition with the Terriers for Vaughan.

ok, lets get this straight, once and for all!

jordan rhodes earns more more per week at huddersfield than any of our players do. his asking price quoted by their owner is £7m UP FRONT. not only is it impossible for norwich to sign him at this time, we have not ever been interested in signing him as our scouting team gave him the 'thumbs down' some time ago. this is not to say he's not a good player or prospect, just that he is not a viable option for our club and probably never will be as our scouting network do not rate him highly enough to get in our team.

i want to hear no more about him!

    the end <ok>

Just to bring this to a stop once and for all: I personally saw Jordan Rhodes in the ASDA car park this afternoon. So there!

<laugh> Just confirms what we already know, that reports of sightings in ASDA car parks should NEVER be believed! <cheers>
