    Not really. He is nowhere near as slow as some of the players mentioned on here.

    Podolski is much faster than your average footballer is. I wouldn't say that he has lightning pace, but he's by no means slow.

    Huth was mentioned a few times, I think he is pretty quick over the first few yards.
    There is huge difference between him and Per Mertesacker.

    As for Podolski, I wouldn't call him extremely quick, but I wouldn't include him here at all. He has got good pace, it's his slow reactions and decision making which makes him look sloppy at times.
    And in terms of only sprinting, Aaron Ramsey is NOT slow.

    Nemanja Vidic deserves a mention here.
