HK TV is showing the quarter finals of the table tennis.

Know what you mean. ARD or ZDF during the week didn't like the look of things at the Rowing once, and switched to some blokes firing at things fired into the sky...............<yikes>
Thank goodness had my computer as a standby for BBC1.............

Fine fight-back by Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka for Belarus, a big well done to them. Especially pleased for old Max ('The Beast' - although nothing could be further from the truth) - he's been a good servant to tennis over the years. <applause>

Fecking German TV ............... semi finals of the mens 1500m on and they're showing the 3rd place play-off for the tennis mixed doubles <doh>

Oddy: Eurosport saved the evening for me, switched over to it after the ZDF nonsense (they are crackers, they really are) and there was the athletics. Filmon let me down for the first time tonight, they were 'down for maintenance - be back soon', of all bloody things. What a time to have it! <doh>
Nevermind, all was well in the end.

Good night!

Marvellous result for Murray - did a demolition job on Federer. I really hope this is the start of many major wins for Andy.

2 more golds today :emoticon-0157-sun: :emoticon-0157-sun:

Had a day off today, back to Gamesmaker work tomorrow. Sadly the job I have is not very exciting, I'm stuck in an office. Was originally due to be driving round London in a new BMW but got changed to current job early this year :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Is anyone feeling like me that this Olympic stadium should be kept as it is and not turned into some football clubs new home...? It would spoil what so far has been a great couple of days in a truly awesome athletic stadium...<ok>

redcgull: You are so right and I hope that many other folk agree with us. This superb stadium is first-amd-foremost for athletics and carefully-selected special events, and should not be handed over to a football club. Never, that would be a tragedy. Surely the U.K. is big enough to have its own athletics and special events stadium? <ok>

Wembley used to be both didn't it? Now we have Wembley AND an Olympic Stadium ...................... hmmmm

Team Showjumping kicks off at 2pm. We are currently in joint 2nd place, so fingers crossed for a medal.

Team Dressage completes tomorrow (GB currently in 1st place) with individual showjumping medals on Wednesday and Individual Dressage, the wonderful freestyle to music, on Thursday.

I cant keep up with all this Olympics i dont know what to watch half the time! thats good news with the showjumping and dressage...

How good was Mo Farah's preperation for the 10,000....Alberto Salazar done a brilliant job with him and his training partner 2nd....what a coup... i wonder if he had the forecast!

Certainly the old Wembley was, but the new Wembley? Thought that was basically for football?

Yeah I meant the old Wembley Swanny, should have been more explicit. The Olympic Stadium in Berlin still fulfills both purposes, as did the old one in München <ok>
