I think for £5-8m, you can't go wrong really. I believe he could be like Luis Garcia - will frustrate you when he tries his tricks and they don't come off, but he can win a match with a moment of magic... This is something we definately lack.

Our whole squad is a gamble though. Carroll, Downing, Adam, Hendo, the list goes on, not one of those are reliable and are all risks. We need to spend some money and get some sure things, Suarez level stuff for around £20m.

Players like Affellay and Quaresma - they can very risky, but they have the ability to produce special moments which can win a game. Only Gerrard and Suarez can currently do that.
Def agree that they are risky but it would feel good if we could get both of them in. If they can come out witha point to prove and fit into our system then they could be huge for us. Which means we will probably end up with someone completely different.
I would definately welcome them to our team. Affellay on loan and I'm hearing £8m for Quaresma. On paper, that would definately sort out our wings and they're both pretty versatile and technically gifted footballers. Talks of Callejon and Tello on loan deals as well ...
