According to the rags 'He who shall not be named' wants Ash should Agger go, and Sinclair is a target for Man City (which I really dont see)

Sincl;air knows what its like to be a small fish in a big pond at Chelsea, so think he will wait another year. Ash is a few years older and might be looking to cash in?
 
London.... in agreement with you. Ash is a top defender and at 27 (nearly 28) he'll want to set himself up. I reckon we should offer him a new contract to make sure we keep hold of him. With Sinclair... hopefully a new contract is on the cards, he won't be leaving for free
 
Can't see Man City going for Scott they'll want to sign someone for £40M instead.

Will now believe anything about Billy Liar Rodgers though. Doesn't he know he can't sign out players ? Does the written agreement mean nothing to him ?

Well if Citeh want Scott in exchange for Adam Johnson who are we to argue (not going to happen) Mancini has money to burn and I'm afraid Scott doesn't fit into that big money buy , Ash now thats different altogether , :sad: I wouldn't be surprised if the dodgy one comes in for him , he's really burnt his bridges with us and so it's probably open season in his eyes
 
Man City will never come after Sinclair .... Liverpool better bring a big bag of money if they want Williams to replace Agger if he goes . Regardless though , I'd still like another quality CB even if Williams stays . Wow !! ... maybe Rodgers should have taken the whole team with him . Buck's is in over his head . I've officially turned the corner with Rodgers now & hope he fails miserably in every endeavor he attempts from now till he retires .
 
Well I agree, Breezy. I was OK with him going but not with what he's tried to do since.
 
I would be happy to have Ash for £6m as back up for Agger and Skrtel, Would provide good cover alongside Coates and Carra.
 
The most 'strongly linked' centre back, should Agger or Skrtel be sold, is Athletic Bilbao's Amorebieta.

EDIT: On our finances, the money is there if it's good value.

Our principal owners are Henry/Werner - they are only part of FSG, which is a pretty damn wealthy group.

If it was written then its not worth the paper its written on just like i have said right at the beginning, players have rights and nothing and i mean nothing can stop that...Joe has proved that, he wanted to go and he has already agreed terms and jenkins cant do a thing about it.....as for ash well he knows there has been a bid for him while in the USA and if he thinks it is a money changing move then he will go....sinclair is different as no big club has come in for him but even he would not sign and still have not signed yet....these next two weeks are going to be very nerve biting as this is the time when the big clubs come a hunting...I can see vorm next if reports that man utd are interested in him....Mr laudrup has plenty of work to do and i hope jenkins plays ball with him.....

has an agreement stopped joe allen from going???? well?? you have to know how things work in football before you can comment......The way things are going WE MAY not see any of our team GB players back, thats how close things are at the moment....sinclair linked with man city & spurs.
...,Taylor linked with spurs & a.n.other
.... Ash linked with three top clubs one being liverpool
.....Joe Allen has agreed terms with liverpool..
......And Vorm has been linked to another three teams one being Man utd.

so this is serious stuff that could happen in the next two weeks so i am concerned as Mr Laudrup will be.....
