Kenny Dalglish will have won himself the respect of many Man Utd fans following today's game. I don't like Liverpool or your manager but Wenger is such a pathetically bitter loser. I know Sir Alex can be bad but Wenger is just ridiculous.
Mr Nice. Firstly I'm not going to get into the ''Liverpool did Man United a favour'' debate.Secondly,Wenger acted like a bigger tit than Ferdinand did yesterday. All Balotelli did was ''wink'' at him,as for Balotelli celebrating in front of the United fans and kissing his badge. It seems old Rio has had yet another memory lapse. He said a couple of years back that Gary Neville celebrating in front of the Liverpool fans ''was all part of the game''. Seems a little bit hypocritical. However Wenger did make himself look like a complete imbecile.
I heard Liverpool should have had a penalty in the first half so if anything Arsenal can count themselves lucky not to lose.
Thats right. The Arsenal penalty if it were a penalty which I'm still unsure whether it was,was if anything, incredibly soft. The Liverpool one was a definite penalty.Lucas was clearly shoved. However I must commend the Liverpool spirit and unity and down right beligerance. The signs do bode well for the future. This Liverpool side has substance in abundance. It just needs style.Substance is something that can't be bought. They showed the same unity and togetherness that is Man Uniteds trademark, and I hate complimenting Man United.
Seriously? I'd say he was clearly shoved in the same way Berbatov was clearly tripped in the 3rd round match - there was contact but nowhere near the level of contact required to go down like he did. But that said, it makes up for the clear penalty you didn't get in the 1st half.
Watch it. Fabregas cut on to his left foot and Spearing hooked his right from underneath him. If thats not a pen then nothing is. If anything your 1 was slightly dodgy, Lucas just stopped running right in front of Eboue and then appealed for it.
Both were penalties to me. What was Eboue doing? Lucas running away from goal and I'd imagine the ref was about 3 seconds away from blowing for full time, what an idiot!
KPR the arsenal one WAS a pretty clear pen, we battled well for the point but i wasnt impressed with mereiles didnt catch who was MOTM but in my view it was reina or lucas
I agree that the MOTM was Lucas, but huge credit must go to John Flanagan and Jack Robinson(When he came on as a sub).
As an independent unbiased fan watching the game The Arsenal penalty was a penalty and from one of the angles shown it was bang on good call referee. The Liverpool one in all honesty I wouldn't have given it and I was a referee for some years but what was Eboue doing getting so close to a player running away from the goal?
Even as a Red I can't say ours was nailed on more than Arsenal's. Ours was almost as soft as Berbatov's against us. We did our favour to Arsenal's chances by beating Utd. They've failed to capitalise on it. I said then Utd would probably continue drawing too many games, which is what cost us in '09, but it's been Arsenal who've drawn more since. I recall us being accused of throwing the Chelsea game last season. Our integrity is proven once again and remains intact, unlike Utd's treble.
Robin he's just trying to goad you so ignore the knob. Fabregas was fouled by an inexperienced lad who made virtually one mistake all day. Lucas felt Eboue placing hands on him and so he went over. Maybe a little soft but nevertheless it was a foul committed by a complete and utter imbecile.
A complete and utter imbecile. It was Eboue not Ferdinand.Who did act like a complete and utter imbecile on saturday.Instead of losing his rag with Balotelli he should have beat the crap out of Carrick who stupidly passed to Yaya Toure that led to the city goal and then beat the crap out of Berbatov for missing from 3 centimetres.
Well at least I'm not a stereotypical Manc, they look like Gary Neville and sound like Terry Christian, and thats just the women.
