Still not going mate, think the place is a **** hole Will let you know as soon as I get one sorted, will be good to meet up & hopefully pags will come along as well.
I've been trying to remain positive but I'll be seriously pissed off if McCormack goes. Worse than losing Snodgrass. In fact losing Clayton was worse than losing Snodgrass. It's always good to have players like McCormack and Clayton buzzing about the field, their energy seems to lift the side. Snodgrass always looked lazy and unfit to me. Ross can play off the main striker, can be a great link between midfield and attack, and scores more goals than CMS. Really hope we keep hold of him.
Because he doesn't understand McCormack is actually quite good when you don't hoof it seven feet in the air and expect that to be all the service he gets.
Yes, but he also seems to think any player who isn't 'his' (i.e. signed by him) is in some way against him or obstructing his plans. That's what I read into the Clayton sale anyway, and the signing of Drury at LB so White can't play in his best position.
In comparison to Snodgrass, yes and I would imagine in comparison to Norris, Green, certainly Pugh, yes again
MCCORMACK WANTS TO STAY McCormack had been linked with the likes of Huddersfield Town, Crystal Palace and Bristol City so far this summer, but he is looking to open talks on a new deal with the Whites. "Everyone knows there have been offers for me and the club have turned them down," he told the club's official website. "I'm just waiting on an offer of a new contract and we'll take it from there. "I've said from day one, I've got a house here, I've got an eight month old baby, my missus is happy and my choice would be to stay at Leeds, so hopefully the offer is one that I think is acceptable." Leeds boss Neil Warnock has confirmed the club are ready to open talks with the player over a new deal. "Ross knows I want to keep him," he said. "I've had a chat with him. His representative will be talking to the club over the next few days. We've had a couple of enquiries for him, but I don't want to sell him unless something happens that we can't turn down."
Afternoon all - Been out all morning and before checking in here I could have predicted two things 1) No takeover news 2) Being linked with a player over £2 Million No surprises though eh? Elland - I sense an about turn by Warnock on McCormack - This suggests no takeover pretty soon, no funding or a worse than expected problem with Becchio?
Ristac, have to agree with you there. Warnock has come out and said he wants to keep McCormack, and the player is saying he weants to stay. FFS, somebody buy em a phone. Its good to talk. Take it we won't sign Michael-Smith if we don't get rid of McCormack???
I need somewone to do tomorrows FRISKY FRIDAYS thread as I am in a meeting all morning tomorrow. Who would lkie to do it ???
