Damn, that's tricky. I suppose you would have to take into account certain variables like my mood at the time, how hungry I am, etc. The Milky Way's nougat centre is far lighter than the Kit Kat's wafer centre, but then the Kit Kat just has that wonderful crunchiness. Right now I would probably take a Milky Way, but there's a good chance my answer would be different in the morning.

I'd definately take Surman back, because, unless I'm mistaken, didn't want to leave? He was forced out because of money issues, and cares about the club; that's the kind of player I want.

I saw a lot of churches and walls. Also it was very, very hot.

Didn't meet a single Irish person, male or female. There were lots of Germans and a surprising amount of Americans.

I came on here thinking it was a transfer rumour site! What i have found is about 4 pages of childish bickering, adverts for chocolate bars and a travel guide! Whatever happened to Buttner?

Yeah but you expect to see them there. Half of them think it's called the Leaning Tower of Pizza. I never thought so many of them would wander as far as Croatia though.

    Everyone calm down.

Most of us would love Theo back but I really doubt that:

    a) He would drop down from a club in the Champions League next season to one who have just come up

    b) He would take signifcant wage cut

I wouldn't write anything off though. I know for a fact he still has a soft spot for us and his parents still live in Newbury.

Unlikely, but we're allowed to dream.

I´d advise people not to though! This is never going to happen. We have to be realistic with our transfer targets and Walcott just isn´t.

You´re right, there´s no point even discussing it. We should, however, be discussing about how ****ing unbelievably ******ed the Mirror and their "journalists" are. Surely when they write this crap they realise that they are going to be taking less and less seriously. (That´s if they can be taken less seriously). All I can say to them is <doh>.
...and the same goes to that Nixon bloke.

"That Nixon bloke" who called the Cork, Fox, Sharp, Rodriguez, Clyne and Davis transfers?

He's one I actually pay some attention to when he posts things.

People said he was putting his neck on the line when he said he was pretty much 100% certain Clyne was going to sign for us, and he was right.

Yeah in fairness Nixon is one of the very few who I don't immediately cast aside. By no means is he 100%, he's still a journalist, but as far as they go he's reliable enough.

I heard about some of those transfer from other sources before he called them. The only one I heard from him first was the Clyne deal. If he was such a good journalist then he wouldn´t be working for a newspaper like the Mirror.

I assume he means he heard the rumours elsewhere DTLW which let's face it wouldn't be difficult.

Surprised you haven't come across it before to be honest. It's the same small group of people every single time, with a mixture of off-topic conversation and childish bickering. Can't wait for the new season to start!

Any way, fingers crossed for some further transfer movement in the next 10 days.

The Clyne move came out of nowhere. We were linked ages ago and nothing happened.

Nixon said we were in talks and a deal would be done in a matter of days. It was done.

He also said if we couldn't lure Hooper, we had Sharp on the back-burner - that played out that way too.

The names may have been mentioned previously in a short article, but he was actually giving details of WHEN we were in talks and where the move was at.

I don't think you should give Nixon that much credit, bar the Clyne thing, he hasn't announced or reported anything else that hadn't already been rumoured elsewhere.

Apart from us having a bid accepted for Rodriguez? That came out of the blue after months of speculation.

Fox? That one pretty much happened out of nowhere.

He is reliable enough, as Mr. Nice says.
