Would have but made plans before games were announced, off to see them tuesday and wouldnt mind going to MK too. I think tomorrow will be a little to early for turner but snoddy may get a run out <ok>

As for Turner, a very good signing. Exactly what the back line needs and i can see him and ryan bennett getting a good partnership going!

Hmmm, slighty suprised with length of only a 2 year deal when we give whittaker a 4 year deal. Happy we have signed him none the less, and for decent price aswell <ok>

i think a two year deal is sensible. he's had injury issues, he's 28, he'll no doubt have our usual 1-year option to extend it as well. he certainly wasn't someone i'd considered us signing but the more i think about it, the happier i am with it. i think we've lacked someone like him since nelson left. we have a couple of excellent young centre backs but we've needed a more experienced head alongside them. i'd set my mind on davies but i actually think this is a much better deal.

I thought the injury could have played apart in his deal, and maybe thats why MON didnt want to offer him a new one at that. He is certainly a welcomed addition to the squad and hopefully will tighten up that back 4 a bit more. Just a good solid Defensive Midfielder to compliment that and maybe cover for Tierney and we will be raring to go <ok>

I must admit, I was getting a bit concerned at how long it took to close the deal, maybe he was looking for longer than 2 years!

All's well that ends well <ok>

    Welcome Tina!

Am I the only one that's concerned about our striking options? I still think we need someone to 'give Holty a hand'. If we're going to rely on Morison to do that, it'll end in tears mark my words <ok>

why will it end in tears? what is so different from last season? if anything we look slightly stronger up front IF vaughan can stay fit. a new striker will use up all our remaining budget - in fact, we might not even have enough to get one that would improve us - and will leave us with nothing in january. a new striker is required but its right at the bottom of the list as far as i'm concerned because the next one we buy is going to have to be bloody good to get ahead of the current players. its vital we make the right choice because i expect it'll be a club record signing when it happens, and by some margin!

You aren't alone kickitoff, but I'd say you are in a minority, on here at least. We've just enhanced our goal scoring options with the addition of Snodgrass and most of us were comfortable about the strikers even before that. <ok>

IF Vaughan stays fit we may be ok, but history tells us that's a big IF. I hope Morison proves me wrong but I doubt it, we shall see.

Good signing for us..alongside Snoddy I'm chuffed.

My one gripe this summer is missing out on Clyne for 2.5m! :-(

Just a DM and LB cover and let's go!

what exactly has morison got to do before some people appreciate him?!

he scored 10 goals last season, was 22nd top scorer overall in the league and played the 2nd half of the season with an injury. i'd go as far as to say that along with tierney, he was our best and most important player during the first four months of the season.

no doubt if he scores a few at the beginning of the season he still won't be accepted by some sections of our fan base and reasons for it will be found. it certainly isn't cos he's crap cos he isn't, so i can only presume its cos he isn't holty and doesn't play the same way as holty <doh>
